Details and instructions for patients having surgery

A nurse from the Rockyview Hospital will call you with information specific to your surgery if an additional appointment in the pre-operative assessment clinic is necessary.

Please call the Rockyview Hospital the day before your surgery at 403-943-3715 between 2:30 pm and 5:30 pm to find out what time you are expected to arrive for surgery. If your surgery is on a Monday or Tuesday following a holiday weekend, please call the previous working day.

There is the possibility that we may have to change your surgery date to accommodate emergency cases. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.

Surgery location

Most urological surgeries take place at the Rockyview General Hospital (main building), 7007 – 14 Street SW, Calgary. You will receive instructions on when and where to arrive.
